Clean rooms, calm routines

In a treatment setting, a clean building is part of the care. Residents notice a shower that has been scrubbed, a group room with its chairs set straight and a dining table wiped before breakfast, and families notice the lobby on visiting day. Vallejo Janitorial looks after those spaces with care and restraint, so your staff can stay focused on the people in the program.

We start with a walk-through beside your program director and record every space in use: bedrooms, counseling and group rooms, the dining area and kitchenette, restrooms and showers, staff offices, the intake desk and the family area. Each one is given its own tasks and a frequency that matches how it is used.

Recovery homes and outpatient clinics

A residential house with shared bedrooms and an outpatient clinic suite need very different cleaning, so every plan begins with how the building is actually used.

Resident rooms and shared bathrooms

Resident rooms are cleaned while the house is at group, at meals or on an outing. Crews dust the surfaces around belongings, wipe door handles, switches and mirrors, empty wastebaskets and clean the floor, and leave every personal item exactly as it was found.

Shared bathrooms receive the closest attention. Shower walls, floors and benches are scrubbed, drains are cleared, toilets and sinks are cleaned and disinfected, and grab bars, faucets and flush handles are wiped with disinfectant. Soap, towels and tissue are topped up, using our stock or the program’s, and floors are dried before residents return.

Group rooms, dining rooms and kitchens

Group and therapy rooms are reset after the day’s sessions, with chairs and tables wiped, upholstery vacuumed, whiteboards cleaned and floors finished. Family rooms receive a careful pass before visiting hours, and counselor offices are dusted, emptied and vacuumed in the evening.

Dining rooms and kitchenettes are treated as food areas: tables cleaned above and below, counters and sinks sanitized, appliance handles wiped and floors mopped under every chair. Houses with a full kitchen can add floor, drain and walk-in cleaning through shared kitchen cleaning.

Your protocol and your privacy

Your infection-control protocol governs the work. The program chooses the products, the surfaces to disinfect and the order of rooms, and our checklist reflects those choices exactly. Crews use EPA-registered disinfectants and honor the dwell time each label sets before wiping, and a terminal clean can be booked when a resident completes the program and the room needs a full top-to-bottom reset.

Crews complete bloodborne-pathogen safety training and keep to HIPAA-aware conduct: files, logs and sign-in sheets are left untouched, and what is seen or heard in the house stays there. Every cleaner is background-checked, and supervisors return regularly for quality inspections against the plan.

A quiet presence on the house schedule

Cleaning is timed around the program’s day. Bedrooms are done during morning programming, group rooms after the last session, the lobby and visitor restroom before family hours, and outpatient offices once clients have gone home. Weekend visits suit houses that run every day of the week.

Crews speak softly, keep carts and chemicals with them at all times, close each door behind them and let the house manager know when they arrive and when they leave.

What sets the price

Pricing reflects square footage, how many beds and bathrooms the house has, how often crews visit each week, the disinfection your protocol calls for, the terminal cleans you expect and any daytime porter hours. Shower and restroom tile can be added to a periodic restroom deep cleaning, and worn hallway floors can be restored through floor care.

After a walk-through, you receive a quote shaped around your program, along with a certificate of insurance for your records.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Do you clean residential recovery homes as well as clinics?

Yes. Recovery homes, residential programs and outpatient suites each receive a plan written for the way the space is used.

Will cleaning interrupt groups or sessions?

No. Rooms are cleaned around the program schedule, while residents are at groups, meals or outings, or after sessions end.

Which disinfectants do your crews use?

The EPA-registered products your protocol names, each left on the surface for the time its label sets.

What does a terminal clean include?

The whole room, worked from the top down: vents and high ledges, furniture, fixtures, walls where needed and the floor, ready for the next resident.
